Help with opening document

Hello,

Please help me with opening a new document. When I start Word 2002 for
XP a new blank document opens with the margin on the left about 1/4
inch and what looks like the whole page shifted to the left about one
inch. I have to click on a 'New Blank Document" icon to have my
default format blank page open which gives me a 1 1/2" margin on left,
1" on right and top and bottom.

I have set the 'New Blank Document" to be the default for all new
documents many times but when I shut down and reopen it always goes
back to the shifted to the left doucment and have to keep opening the
'New Blank Document' to get the blank page I want.

Please help.

Try making the margiin adjustment in your Normal.dot template file.
