Help with old AIW in XP

I have an old AGP AIW 3d rage pro card. Seems it does not work in XP.
Worked fine in 98se.
The only reference to the problem is this link from ATI. Is there a
resolve. I am going to build a new computer and put this one in my sons
room. I would like the "puter to serve as a TV as well. I can't buy a
newer card as the requirements far exceed the pII 333mhz it has.

Any help?

I"ve got an old Matrox Rainbow Runner (similar to the ATI AIW of the
time) that you can have for the cost of shipping if you want it. I
used to use it a 233 running Win98. It's PCI, not AGP.

It's a moot point, you can't put XP on that computer anyway.

You might want to tell Microsoft. They seem to be laboring under the
misconception that it will run on a 233 MHz P1 with 64 meg RAM. While it
doesn't scream, I've had 2K3 server running on a 300 for months and it's
been rock-stable. Of course all it's doing is hosting Exchange and SQL
Server . . .

Actually you can. Been running XP since before SP1 on this machine. Since
I installed SP2, It runs even better! The issue is getting an old AIW to
operate the TV functions under XP. I have the latest drivers and 7.2
multimedia center. Everything installs with no errors. When I select TV, I
get nothing. The card worked fine under 98se two years ago before I
switched to XP.

Gigabyte motherboard
Pentium II 333mhz.
Windows XP, SP2
196 mg Ram
flashed bios,
100 gig wd
6 gig wd
2 gig cavalier
plextor 8/4/32 cd writer
400 watt supply
Comcast cable connection since 1998!

Built in 1998 and going to my son to play with! He has a small room so I
was trying to get the TV function to work. Obviously outdated but, this
computer runs great and is surprisingly fast. Good first computer for him
at least.
