Help with Newsgroup

Is there a newsgroup devoted to newsgroup management? I can't find any of
my postings prior to December 10, either via Outlook Express, or directly
via the MSDN web site. That's one puzzle. I'll mention my other questions
here, just in case someone would like to respond.

I can only find postings from October 11, 2003 (via the MSDN web site), and
postings since Nov 11 via Outlook Express. Is there a way to get at older
postings? Why the discrepancy.

When I do a "properties" on my own name in a posting, it shows an obsolete
e-mail address.... It si not the e-mail address that is currently in use by
Outlook Express. Any idea where that old address is living and how to get
rid of it?

Different sites have different time limits on retaining older posts.

To find posts that are no longer active (and even still active ones)
search in the relevant newsgroup(s) at:
http:/www.groups.google.com

A search for your email address just now returned 208 messages going
back to 12/1997.

Thanks for the invaluable info re google. I discovered my problem. Up
until December 11, I had not been using Outlook Express. All of my messages
were going in as <anonymous> (even thought the posted name was "Laurel," and
a search on "from" apparently only looks at the e-mail address, not the
visible user name. One of the problems I'd been hoping to track down was
why my long obsolete e-mail address (which does contain "laurel") had begun
to show up on my postings..... Lucky it did. I guess I'll leave it, or I
won't be able to use the handy "View/Answers to my postings" in Outlook
Express.
