Help with ListBox Object . . . Please

T

Twig

Greetings,

I am wondering if there is a way to change the color of a "ListBox" item
based on the bound column matching and entry in a subfrom below. Let me
explain:

1. I have a ListBox at the top of a form that contains a PartNumber and
Description Field and is based on a list of parts.

2. The user selects the PartNumber to add and it populates a subform of
parts below.

3. In this application the user may want to add that part again but assign
it to a different Bin location.

4. I would like to change the text color of any part in the Listbox that
has a matching PartNumber in the subform below.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Regards,

Keith

An Access ListBox control does not include the capability that you
desire. Quit beating yourself up - you just can't do it using a
Listbox.

If it's just for data display, consider using a Subform with
conditional formatting.
