I have been trying to do the "speed up my browser" here and am stuck.

I choose RUN..type "regedit" and go into the Hkey_Current_user ect. When I
get to the Internet Settings, I do not see... :

The MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server &
MaxConnectionsPerServer

.....Where I want to increase the values (decimals) from default to a higher
value. Is it named something else besides one of these?

I have XP and use IE6

I appreciate any help..

See:

"How to configure Internet Explorer to have more than two download
sessions".

This .vbs script from MVP Kelly Theriot increase IE downloads to 10:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/iedownloads10.vbs
"Increase Internet Explorer Downloads to 10".
- To use the VBS Files: Download .vbs file and save it to your hard drive
(you may want to right click and use Save Target As). Double click the vbs
file. You will be prompted when the script is done.
-> NOTE: If your anti-virus software warns you of a "malicious" script,
this is normal if you have "Script Safe" or similar technology enabled.
These scripts are not malicious, but they do make changes to the System
Registry.

Please upgrade to IE7:

Hope this helps.

Vincenzo has given you another option to change the settings but to
answer your question...
The values are not there. You have to add them.
Please read the article carefully.
