Help with icons.

Hey, i just installed Vista Ultimate. So far loving it but there are a couple
of things that are bothering me that i haven't been able to find answers to:

1. I had an icon set installed on XP and after i did my all-in-place upgrade
all the icons are just the default White icon. (ill try to stop saying icon
so much.) Is there any way to reset all the vista icons back to default?

2. The little open/save display crashes in every program, whether its saving
in Firefox or loading in Word it always causes explorer to restart.

Any help with either of these issues is greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

*Bump* Nothing?

I guess that's the price one pays for doing an upgrade rather than a clean
installation.
Anyway, I use Icon Packager by Stardock. It works fairly well.

I have exactly the same problem, unfortunately. I've also scoured the
internet for ways to fix it, and all I've come across are people
unhelpfully saying, "it's your own fault for using Vista."

In Firefox, I've just set a default download folder and moved my
downloads afterwards. And with files that will always bring up the
save dialog, like pictures, I just drag the picture from Firefox into
a Windows Explorer folder.
