there's a little colored box behind the icon's text title and I don't know
how to remove it, or make 'transparent'. how can i do this?

please help me, thank you.

Hi,

Go to the Control Panel/System/Advanced tab, click on performance settings.
On the Visual Effects tab, enable the line to "use drop shadows for icon
labels on the desktop".

Also, if you have web items locked on the desktop, you will need to undo
that (right click the desktop, look under "arrange icons by").
