Help with Help & Support

Hi All,

I posted this problem a while ago and got no response so I am going
to try again.

I cannot access the 'Help & Support' section of Windows XP. I have been
through the Microsoft site from top to bottom but cannot find any reference
to my problem. When I try and select 'Help & Support' from the Start menu,
the hour glass shows for about 2 seconds then nothing. A check of the XP CD
proved fruitless as I couldn't find anything that looked like a separate
section for Help.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be the problem? Any suggestions would
be greatly appreciated.

If the above repair does not work:

Go to Start > Run and type in: helpctr -regserver

To reinstall Help and Support:

Go to C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf.
Right-click and choose install. Have your XP CD available.

Note: The folder is hidden by default. Go to Start > Run and type in:
control folders. View: Show hidden files and folders and uncheck
"Hide extensions for known file types".
