Help with FOLDERS please!!!

When using the windows media player i added all my music tracks to the
library and all my files were added to each individual folder by artist.Can
someone tell me how i can undo the folders and have all my tracks listed
individually(with out having to undo each folder individually .i have too
many folders that i would have to undo).....thanks........V.Freeman

Do you want to undo the folder hierachy, or just view the files as a group
of songs? Use WMP to do the later, simply highlight the All Music line.
In fact WMP lets view your lib by many different criteria. The library
view is independent of the folder hierarchy.

If you really want to move all the songs into a single SONGS folder you'll
have to do that by hand via windows explorer. But why would you want to
do that?

Also, WMP does have the ability to actually rearrange the songs on disk,
but it does the opposite of what you want - it tries to create all the
catagorizing subfolders for you. It's controlled by the "Rename Music..."
and "Rearrange Music..." options on the Library tab.
