Please provide guidance in adding or editing a drop down menu to an
Excel cell. You know, where you can drop down a menu of, say names,
to click on to fill in the cell.

Ugh .. the timing suggests that my stealth
in directing people to your page isn't up to par of late <bg>

Maybe not, but you make up for it in style. <g>

Shhhh.

Max, just adjust your pc's clock. Make it so you're posting even before the
question.

But don't tell anyone this trick!

There's a bunch around here who already do that !

i have been tricked a couple of times.

i observed that a particular post has had no replies. i went ahead an
posted my reply. after i clicked on 'submit reply' and my reply wa
posted, it showed one or two replies ahead of mine. and mine wa
identical to the other two replies. pretty embarrassing...

wonder why this happens, and how to avoid it (i dont mea
embarrassment, i mean the lag)?

I don't know away of avoiding it--maybe you can retrieve messages to see if
anything's there (right before you send).

But I wouldn't worry about it--or be embarrassed.

Agreed .. one positive take on the perceived "redundancy"
is the nice, warm comfort that you're in excellent company, as
"wise folks think alike", no? <bg>

(btw, Dave - thanks for the earlier tip .. i won't get around to it <bg>)
