Help with deleting files

Apparently there is something wrong with my computer. The McAfee Anti Virus
software that I bought will not install properly, and I can't use any other
type of anti virus software because I can't uninstall or delete the McAfee
software, I've tried everything I know to do. Simply trying to delete them
doesn't work neither does going into safe mode and taking ownership of the
folder and trying to delete it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recently had a similar problem with NAV. Checked the
NAV FAQs, found and downloaded the NAV zap tool,
zapped NAV. I recommend you do the same for McAfee,
i.e. check the McAfee FAQs. Alternatively repost under
a more specific Subject line - yous is far too general.
