HELP WITH DELETING A CONFIG KEY THINGY

Hey all quick question, I was having problems with the XP PRO all of a sudden
not recoginizing my CD and DVD drives. Read a few diff things and was
deleting a KEY CONFIG in my registry, it was something like uppercase or
lowercase. I think I deleated it in the correct folders, but then deleted it
in the mouse and keyboard folders also. When the computer restarts, I can't
use either to log on and change it. HELP. Thanks.
 
Did you backup the Registry before "tinkering" with it? That'll learn you!!!
Anyhow, try to do a Restore of your system to a day before you messed it up.
Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. The
Restore feature will only restore system files, not apps.
 
Hey, the problem is when my computer cuts on, i can't use my mouse to click
