Help with Database Setup

Hi all,

I am new to the world of access and I would really like
some help on the construction of a simple database.

The database i want to setup will be used for storing
computer hardware information such as serial number,
motherboard, cpu etc. Also computer software information
such as Operating System, Word Processor, etc.
I will also need information about the location of the
computers and printers and who uses these devices.
Last but not least I want to have some basic information
about the cabling in the room and outlet numbers etc.

I know this is a big ask but could someone give me the
kick foward so that i can make a start on this.

Note - The database will be used to input network
information on hardware, software and also be used as a
search tool to find computers, printer etc by searching
for their name in a form.
