Help with calculating time

I am trying to format a cell to calculate the difference between two given
times.
If A1 is 7:00 am and B1 is 5:00 pm then C1 needs to be "10".
If A2 is 7:00 pm and B2 is 12:00 midnight then C2 needs to be "5".
And if A3 is 12:00 midnight and B3 is 7:00 am then C3 needs to be "7".
