Help with 2 problems, please

1. Every so often a "Dell Support Alert" appears in the system tray (new
Dell computer). How can I disable this function?

2. Jpeg images are labeled "Dell Image Expert Picture." I have changed the
file associations to programs I want, but how do I change the file type
label that comes up under "type" in Windows Explorer?

When you get the popup again there should be a box in it
that will say "do not show this again" put a tick in it
Sorry not to sure about the secondone

Right-click on the Dell Support icon and disable it. Or just uninstall
it from Add/Remove Programs.
