Help! Windows XP for Mac? Possible?

Hi. I was thinking about getting an Ibook to go away to college with. The
Problem? I really don't want to deal with a Mac operating system. I love
windows and have been using it for as long as I can remember. Is there
anyway to install the Windows onto a Mac? Thanks so much for helping me.

Well, VirtualPC
(http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/virtualpc/virtualpc.aspx?pid=virtualpc).

But you'd be running windows in emulation which will be slower and will have
some issues. Not to mention you'd need a massive amount of memory, since
you're using two operating systems simultaneously.

If you don't like the Mac, why get a Mac?

Not without extensive software hacks, like trying to install OS 10 in a PC.

Have to ask: if you don't like the Mac OS, why would you buy an iBook? Buy a
Windows laptop; they're cheaper.
