help win xp

when i boot up i get to the welcome screen and it stops
booting i hit ctrl&alt&delete and it boots in to windows
it just started doing this what can i do to fix this !!

Try using Last Known Good Configuration. Restart the computer and keep
pressing F8 until you see the Advanced Menu. Use the Arrow Keys to Select
Last Known Good Configuration and press Enter. Hopefully that will get you
in. If not then follow the above to get back to the Advanced Menu and select
Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode go to Start->Help and Support->Pick a task and
click System Restore. Use System Restore to roll back to a date before the
problem occurred. Don't roll back too far just take it back to the date
before the problem occurred.
