HELP! Why won't my computer play DVD's???

W

Whitney

I seriously need help. I can't figure out why my computer
won't play DVD's. I have a video card and sound card, and
normally, don't DVD'S play on Microsoft Media Player???
Is there something (like an update) that I need to
download? I must admit I'm a bit clueless when it comes
to computers, and i have my brother's old computer. I'm
SURE it used to play DVD's.

Any help at all is welcome, thanks.

You might try reinstalling or install your DVD decoder. WMP doesnt play
DVD's "Out-of-the-box" you must buy a third party DVD Decoder such as
PowerDVD or WinDVD.
