I have uninstalled, reinstalled, and repaired, but still no help! I can ask
the clipit thing a question and it will identify possible topics. When I
click on an option, the help screen opens up, but it is completely blank.
I've opened it up as far as it'll go--all blank. Please help as I really
need the help to work!

Yes, mine are too. Very frustrating and I have tried all that you have tried
to rectify as well. Incidentally, mine occurs more when I am trying to
access the help pages inthe Visual Basic side of things. Weird.

I'm afriad I have no solution but just small comfort that you are not alone!
Sorry.

Paul,
I've been doing some research on the problem and I think I have narrowed it
down to the culprit file(s)...Start by reading:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;295194 in knowledge
base (how do you past hyperlinks in this reply window?). Also, since you
mentioned Visual, read this one too:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;251147

The problem is that our ADO*.chm file is not in sync with the DATA viewer
SDK or something like that...I'm muddling through as you can see. So problem
is isolated, but actually caused new problems. It says to load the SDK file;
I did. It says to look in folder for such-n-such file, I searched my entire
hard drive and no such file. I can't find where the installation program
installed the SDK files. Also, I don't have the "fresh" good file to replace
the junk file with...even if I could find the junk file!!!

Maybe you can make heads or tails of it. Also, I'm hoping that one of the
MVP experts would lend a hand to help...I'm not asking for hand out with a
silver spoon..I've put time in research...multiply by a steep learning
curve=showing effort, but still no cigar.
