Help urgently needed for virus backdoor Berbew.f

I deleted it yesterday as Norton picked it up after doing scan in safe mode
as things were keep going missing and things appearing. But how do I get rid
of box that say "16 bit windows subsystem. C:\WINDOWS\system32\AUTOEXEC.NT.
System file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft windows
application" It appears everytime I start the computer and you either have
close or ignore as the options, I have tried both and it goes but I still
think my computer has virus, even though Norton has not picked anything up
when I did another scan. Another box comes up from Norton saying, "Alert
Malicious Script detected, object: file system object, Activity ;Create text
file, File ; C:\WINDOWS\system32\embedding and I stop it. Please can anyone
help as I am very confused what to do as I am not that experienced with the
computer, Thank you

Yes, I keep up to date with them every week so I still need a solution, Thank

Hello again, I did try what was stated in article but it did not help. Even
though it took me hours to find things I still am in the same situation, ant
other solutions would be great. I have more adverts now even though I have
spyhunter ect on my computer, Thank you.
