help uninstalling program

I recently installed a program and one small part of it is not working
properly and instructions through their help is to uninstall (through
add/remove programs) and reinstall. Now the problem. The program is not
showing under add/remove and a search of the program's folder shows no
uninstall program file. How can I uninstall this program properly?

If it is not listed, then you could try the install setup again. This
should "bring" the entry in "Add/Remove..." back.

No, it says cannot reinstall without first uninstalling, kinda stuck between
a rock and a hard place here!

In that case you should contact the company that wrote the program and
installer for the correct method to get out of that little mess.
