HELP! Trouble with NT to 2003 AD trust!

Hi, all! Hopefully someone can help me out. Here is my problem.

I've got an NT 4 Domain and a 2003 AD domain. I would like to migrate
the users from my NT domain to the 2003 AD domain. I've created a
trust relationship between them, which seemed to be successful. No
errors when creating the trust and no errors in any of the logs. On
the NT side, I can "see" the list of users on the AD side and apply
permissions, however I cannot do the same thing on the AD side. That's
a problem because i can't use the Active Directory Migration Tool to
migrate users without being able to "see" the NT users...
I've removed and reapplied the trusts a few times but the same thing
happens. I've also rebuild the 2003 AD server, to no effect.


Am i doing something wrong here? Does anyone have any other ways of
doing what I want to do?

Blair,

I would suggest that you take a look at netdom to do this. Anytime a legacy
domain ( read: WINNT 4.0 ) is involved I like to use netdom to create the
trust. netdom can be found in the Support Tools.
