I'm pulling my hair out! I successfully migrated my "drafts" and "sent" mail
folders
from my ancient Windows 98/OE 6 computer to my new Vista computer, BUT
haven't been able to transfer my "inbox". I'm using a Zip drive to do the
transfer
and because I had over 3000 messages in my old inbox, I couldn't do it all
at once.
The "draft" and "sent" messages transferred over nicely. They are in a
"Imported Folder",
all accounted for.
Now....when I do the same process for my old "inbox" files I get this:
"No messages can be found in this folder or another application is running
that has
the required files open. Please select another folder or try closing
applications that
may have files open".
What am I doing wrong???
Will it not let me import them because I now have messages in the current
"inbox"?
Do I have to delete the new?
Why won't it copy them into the "Imported Folder" like the others?
Was I supposed to do it all at once before using the mail program.
Anyone's wisdom would be so appreciated!
