Help to play a DVD

Friends,

Help me please. I have one DVD and I want to play that
DVD by using my CD ROM is there software that can solve
my problem. I am using Win2000 Professional. When I
insert the DVD in my CD ROM, it's showing me that there
is no disk inside of CD ROM. I am sure that DVD is new
and my CD ROM is also new one. If I buy the DVD it will
take time, but I need it very badly now.

A CD-ROM drive is incapable of reading a DVD disc.

If you want to read DVD disks then you are going to have to install a
DVD drive and the matching decoder software.
