Can anyone give me some pointers on how I can fix this error message
"Insufficient spce in output buffer uncompress string". It is not a windows
based problem, but a program one.

Ask the makers of whatever program (you did not say what program) is giving
you this problem.

Otherwise.. we are more at a loss than you are. =)
