Help to copy multiple columns to a spreadsheet

My spreadsheet is divided by units and I am trying to copy columns from this
spreadsheet another. Using the F5 option does not work.
Example: Columns I, Z, AQ and BA need to be copied in another spreadsheet
to columns D, E, F and L. Can this be accomplished.

Do you have different sheets in one workbook or different workbooks? What
is a "unit" in your context? Remember, you are the only one who knows what
you are talking about.
If you want to copy/paste a column, simply select the column, click
Edit-Copy. Select the destination column and click Edit-Paste. If this is
something that you have to do repeatedly you might consider using VBA (a
macro). HTH Otto

I have two workbooks and the data is not the same in each workbook. A unit
is a quantity. I can not copy and paste the column from one workbook to the
other because the format of the two workbooks are different.

If a unit is a quantity, what does "My spreadsheet is divided by units..."
mean?
Be specific when you state what you want to do. You said that you want to
copy columns but now you say you can't copy the columns because of a
different format (layout?). I think what you mean is that you want to copy
some of the data from one column and paste it to some location in another
column. Is that right?
For some reason you can't copy and paste this data. Is that because of
format differences? If so, state the formats. Or is it because you have
too many such copy/paste tasks to do that you don't want to do it manually?
If so, then a macro would be in order.
It might help if you simply wrote down the step-by-step procedure that you
would have to do if you had to do this manually and put that in your post.
