Help: tips on using a reg snapshot tool to find sneaky keys

Our website autoprovisioning system creates forward lookup zone entries in DNS using the default options that DNSmgmt.mmc has. I have to find the reg key for the default options for new forward lookup zones and change them so I don't have to go back in and change every autoprovisioned site (thus taking the auto out of autoprovisioning)

Point is... I don't expect anyone to know the keys for the default settings (if you do, then I'm done

I'm looking for pointers on how to use a registry snapshot tool (before/after/compare) to find the key with these default settings inside

Thanks
