help system restore

im trying to restore system back to the first part of
oct, i can not arrow back past nov, tried safe mode no
success, if oct was deleted how can i restore back to
oct...help please thanks glenn

You are out of luck, Glenn,
Once October is deleted, that's it.
If you are having serious problems, you can try the Repair option in the XP
CD boot install.
The first option is to Replace, bypass this until you get to the EULA
agreement.
Repair follows.

I can't help you on this issue, but may I suggest you
consider creating a disk image with Acronis True Image.
That way, if you have a problem later on, you can always go
back to a known, good running condition of your computer.
There are other imaging products, but Ghost forces you go
boot to DOS and Drive Image doesn't work the same with all
versions of Windows and it can be confusion. Acronis True
Image is quite good and keeps winning Editors' Choice
awards (www.acronis.com)
