Help!!! System Backup

My computer is making weird noises...the last time this happened my hard
drive went out and I lost everything. I have Windows XP and I have searched
all over this thing trying to figure out how to backup my programs. Can
someone help me?

If you think that your hard drive may be dying, you might like to think
about an imaging program - such as True Image:

A good backup is in fact available by 'Imaging' your hard drive.

Do this with Drive Image or Ghost [both are now Symantec Products]. I
personally have had better luck using Ghost.
