Hi all

I have a problem with the Help & Support function on my
xp box.

Whenever I click on any xp link to help, nothing happens
(its as if I dont have it installed)

How do I check if I have it installed and how do I
install it without reinstalling the whole of xp?

Cheers

To reinstall Help and Support: Go to
C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf. Right click and choose
install. Have your CD handy.

Note: The folder is hidden by default. Go to Start/Run
and type in: control folders. View: Show hidden files and
folders and uncheck Hide extensions for known file types

If it doesn't help go to Start/Run and type in: helpctr -
regserver

Thanks for that

But when I insert my xp cd, half way through it asks me to insert the win xp
sp1 cd !!! I installed sp1 through Windows Update, i didnt d/load it nor do
i have it on cd !!

Help !!
