Help restore screen icons.

My PC had a trojan, i scanned with several anti virus and spyware programs.
Im not sure if the trojan has be deleted. When i turn my PC in normal mode,
it just hangs after login on or starts but nothng appears on the screen. Even
pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL for the task manager, nothing happens.
Any suggestions.

Try Tapping F8 repeatedly on next Startup. If you get a Menu select
Safe Mode. If the XP loads Ok go to Start>All
Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. Try going back
before this problem began.
