My AIW 9000 crumped on install and during a million re-attempts. I
would like to start clean...how do I get rid of all sign ATI was ever
on my system? regsirty, files (one of which won't allowitself to be
deleted even though it should not be in use anymore since I went back
to my GeForce2 card...

The cat-uninstaller provided by Ati
(http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/misc/catalystutils.html) seems very
effective at removing registry entries, although it doesn't appear to remove
files - you'll have to do that manually.

Yeah ATI as far as My experience has 100 % always had very POOR
uninstallation abilities.

Very poor !

Why would you want to uninstall? Yeah they dont care. They figure
any overwrite will take place correctly I bet.

This is why I want drivers like the ATI card to sit in a seperate
directory. You cant miss whats going on.

I also am a firm believer that they need to LOG 100 % of everything
they are installing and over writing.

Yeah ATI drives me nuts here and I have three cards. hahaha

Wish I could afford the latest greatst too. moo haww haww
