Someone please help me...

When i installed Windows XP (Proffessional) it asked me
if only one user was going to use the system (so it would
automatically load up that user on startup with out going
thorugh the process of loggin in).
However now i want to other people to use the computer
and have created new users.... but windows still
automatically logs in to the original user on start up -
i want it to go to the login screen!

Ive tried deleting the original user but this has led to
windows either crashing on start up or reaching the login
creen sometimes saying incorrect username or password
before getting to the user selection screen. What windows
has done is store the original username and password!

how do i get rid of this stored details?
It is not located in stored passwords for any users...

Many thanks for any replies

Hi,

Start/run 'control userpasswords2'

Enable the entry "users must enter a user name and password....". Click
apply/ok.
