I deleted a program using the add and delete program on Windows XP
professional. Is there anyway to be able to get that data back. Does
anybody know how I can restore that data or where I can look for it.

Thank you
Chas

You are basically screwed. When you delete a program using Windows
Add/Remove Programs, it goes away for good. If you have data in a folder
outside of the folder that application was in, you should be able to open
that folder and get your data. For instance, some games save your saved
games in a folder that resides outside the folder the game is found in. You
can delete and remove the game, usually from the Program Files folder, and
then you have to manually remove the saved games. Is that clear? So if
your data was in the folder the application was in, you are out of luck.

Hi Chas,

No, you will have to reinstall it from the original installation media
(whatever that may be).
