HELP: Projected slides have a yellow cast

I hope you can help me. This may be more of a general windows question but...

For some reason when I connect my laptop to my projector and start the slide
show, the slides have a yellow background.

The slides are just black text on a white background. On my laptop screen
they show as they are. For some reason it spits it out through my projector
with a yellow tint.

Why is this happening. Are they any places I can look that has this
happening?

Does it do this with just your laptop or any computer attached?

I'd guess it's the projector. slim chance the cable.

Make a test page in powerpoint

have a red box, a green box, and blue box.

Are all 3 colours projected?
