Help: Powerpoint Grow/Shrink Animation problem

Michael

Dear powerpoint users

I would like some advice how i can work around animation problem in PPT.

I have a slide and have placed a picture at good resolution/'clear' into the slide.

I actually resize it to start it off as a small image/like the size of an icon.
Then I chuck on animation 'grow' to get it to its original size.

However, when it grows, i don't get the clarity, with some pixelation of the image.

Any solutions would be appreciated.

cheers
Mike

Mike,

Insert your image full size as you would like it to appear *after* it grows.
Then set its first animation to shrink before you animate it in. Then you
can animate it out to grow, and it will actually return to its original
size. Normally the full process is:

Insert full size,
Animate it to disappear straight away,
Shrink it to 50%,
Animate it in when required,
Grow it to its original size.

Glen
thank you
I used your technique with success.
I had some trouble with how to apply disappear, so I used a
transparency setting to hide the shrinking process and made it
not-transparent when enlarging.
works like a dream

Cheers
Mike
