Help Plzz (desktop emergency)

plz help me idk wat 2 do everytime i turn on my computer my desktop is white
and says ACITVE DESKTOP RECOVERY! i have changed my desktop and that dosent
seem to help it keeps doing the same thing and it sometimes freezes and wont
allow me to click anything...plz help me! Wats wrong with my computer?

There is no Active Desktop in Windows Vista. You are posting to a
newsgroup regarding hardware devices in the Windows Vista operating system.

I suggest you post in a general newsgroup for your particular operating
system such as microsoft.public.windowsxp.general if you have XP.
