help please

I'm currently having a problem, and I NEED HELP.

When clicking on a particular folder or even icon. All others icons or
folders are highlighted. HOW CAN I UNDO the highlighting of everything
please. This problem keeps happening Is it in the setting of my mouse or
other setting...please kelp me'
 
Check if your Shift Key or Ctrl key is stucked.

If that is not the case then you can also check the Sticky Key. Sometime
cause that behavior.

Click Start - Control Panel
Accessibility Options
Uncheck Sticky Key.
