Last week my granddaughter downloaded a program on my computer and since then
I can not access Internet Explorer. I have tried uninstalling it and get a
message that my Windows Instaoo Program is missing. When I try to download
anything from the Microsoft website, I am told they cannont validate my copy
of windows. This is the same copy that was on this computer when I purchased
it. I am about to lose my mind trying to get this corrected. Can anyone
help with this?

C.
Call Microsoft and get your OS verified, many people have.

This would be a perfect time to use Windows XP System Restore. Choose a date
before your grand daughter downloaded and installed the program.

Also you should have your grand daughter set up as a Limited User to help
prevent issues like this in the future.
