Help please

I had a virus in the system32.exe file which Norton
promptly dealt with but deleted the file.
Is there any way I can get the file back without having
to reboot windows ????

Hey Adam,

System32.exe is a virus file.
It is not part of windows xp.
You don't need to replace it. However there is probably an entry in your
registry which was used to run it which may have not been removed.

Are you happy using regedit ?

What you may have to do is to edit the registry to remove any unnecessary
warnings you get when you reboot.
