HELP PLEASE!!!! -- Remote RegistryAccess

C

Carl Hilton

OK, I have an WXPpro workstation that I can not access the registry
remotely.

I have verified LOCAL SERVICE - READ access on
HKLM/Systeml/CurrentControlSet/Control/SecurePipeServers and winreg.

I have verified the REMOTE REGISTRY service is running.

I have access to \\REMOTEXPMACHINE\ADMIN$ share.

I am listed in the local machines LOCAL ADMIN group.

Additionally, when I try to connect to the remote registry, I DO see HKLM
and
HK_Users "folders", but can not expand them. I receive:

"Cannot open <key>. Error While opening key."

What else am I missing?

Thanks
Carl
