Help!! please re: repative text insertion

Using Word 2000, I have a document that I send to numerous
people. I have several places in the document that I
insert pertinent info such as names or $ amounts. Is the
someway to flag these spots on the original document and
then paste the info in automatically. It would save a
great deal of time if I could type a name in one spot and
have it automatically entered in several other areas.
Please help save my aching fingers...

If you bookmark the text in the original location, you can insert a
cross-reference to that bookmark later, but this is not the best way to
accomplish what I think you are trying to do. See my reply to your previous
post.
