help please pictures don't show in e-mail

I have windows XP sp 2, IE 7 , I use comcast , when I get an e-mail that has
a pic in it when I open it the pic isn't there, but if I click to fwd it I
can see the pic. the lnbox shows there is an attachment (paperclip) but in
the e-mail there is no attachment listed to click. if I fwd it to myself it
no longer shows the paperclip but everything else is the same.
Anybody know how to fix this, I tried to get help from comcast and they
don't know, say it must be IE.

no usually is outlook or outl express......which email client, there is
a setting to fix that.

In Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express to get pictures to show do the
following

To re-enable the images and external content in HTML
e-mail, use the following steps.

Open Outlook Express.
In Outlook Express, from the Tools menu, click Options.
In the Options dialog box, click the Security tab,
and then take the checkmark off the line that says:
"Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail"
