Every time I try to open an internet page I get
redirected to "http://81.211.105.49/" and I get the
message "account suspended for TOS violation". I also
have various shortcuts re-appearing on my desktop. I have
used Lavasoft Ad-Aware 6 and Meaya Adware Remover but
they keep coming back.

Does anyone know how I can kill these annoying things?

I have tried a re-install of Windows and Internet
Explorer but with no luck.

If I type "www.microsoft.com" it redirects to the page
above but if I type the full address
("http://www.microsoft.com") it works fine!

Any help I recieve would be much appreciated.

Andy.

OK well theres one bug which is reeeally annoying but I'm
not sure if it's the one you are experiencing..the way to
get rid of the one I'm talking about it is to get a
program called: WCShredder or CWShredder (I can't
remember the exact name..

do a search on google to be sure..

hope this helps

Open the Internet Options applet in Control Panel
Uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions" on the Advanced tab.
You may also have to set the Home Page to about:blank

Then eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

**Post your HijackThis log to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ or the Spyware forum at

Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder
may be found on this page:

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
