I am getting pop ups that say that I am running low on
virtual memory and they are coming more and more often.
I've done the basics, like check the size of the file,
have it on 2 drives, etc. However, it never increases in
size even when I have it on the two drives. Furthermore,
I can't seem to get task manager running and I am logged
on as admin. I'm afraid I'm going to crash, please help.

Thx
Renee

You probably have a memory leak. Use msconfig.exe
(http://www.svrops.com/svrops/dwnldoth.htm) to disable
all non-essential tasks until you have found the culprit
that eats up your memory. You should also scan your
PC with an external virus scanner, e.g. on
www.antivirus.com ("free online scan").

For some reason, when I try to run msconfig it doesn't do
anything. Same thing happens with task manager.

More help please and Thank you

Run msconfig in Safe Mode.

How big is your pagefile.sys on the root (the partition \WINNT exists on) and how much physical RAM do you have installed?
