Help. One User, 2 x Outlook 2003, Exchange 2003 STD.

Hi,

Server 2003 with Exchange 2003 & Outlook 2003. Profiles not used and I don't
have the authority to set this up. I do have one user who works from two
offices in different buildings. He needs full access to all his emails
regardless of which office he is in.

I have configured Outlook 2003 to use Exchange cached mode and I am not
using PST fies. I presumed that as the mail would stay on the Exchange
server that regardless of which office the user launches Outlook 2003 from
he would see all of his email.

As you may have determined I am new to Outlook / Exchange beyond the basic
POP3 / SMTP configuration.

Thanks.

Andy.

Make sure the user is not downloading his email from the server. Set him up
to synchronize his mail with the server. I have users here logging onto email
from multiple machines without issues (but only 3 users on Outlook 2003 and
none use cached mode).

We have a number of users who log onto different PC and access all their
mail. I have cached mode off on all PC. I have only used this on laptops
that need to take e-mail away with them on business trips.

Thanks for the heads up on Outlook. I am going to have a explore today and
will post back the results.

Thank you once again.

From a once elated UK to a now despondent one.

Andy.
