help on shutdown

MY comp takes forever to shut down, i used norton found
no viruses, and i used spybot and spysweeper to check for
spyware and found none. I went through my taskmanager and
found that no other programs that arent suppose to run. I
am clueless.

Have you run Disk Defragmenter and Disk Cleanup? Both can be found by going to Programs>Accessories>System Tools.
