I recently (yesterday) installed a USB card...
worked fine, and fixed the CD recording speed
problem I had been having. I put the cover back
on, turned computer on, but suddenly I have
no video signal... just a yellow light on the
monitor.

Does this mean I need to reset the bios ?

If so, how would I do that, without the monitor
functioning ?

Thanks to anyone who has fixed this before.

Are there any other signs of life e.g. disk activity?
If you are lucky you knocked loose the video card or a cable. If your luck is bad you have killed something by zapping it with static electricity.

+ Yep... all the drives are running... just the
monitor never comes on... just hangs there
with a yellow light instead of green

I reinstalled and checked the video card
it seems to be installed solidly.

Thanks for your reply

first of all remove your usb card then check that is there video signal
is there or not then
