Help ! no play list info when ripping.

Hi all, hope you can help, I`m running XP Home , the problem is when ripping
an album, to windows media player, I don`t get the album / artist info on
screen then end up having to type in every track title, artist , ect. this
has never happened before, tried system restore to no avail. Hope you can
help , my little fingers are going numb. Thanks in Advance

Album/artist info is not on most purchased CD's. The information is obtained
from the internet by searching for a code on the CD. You must be connected
to the internet and have options set to update the info.

Hi Dennis, Thanks for your post and info. I usually am connected to the inter
net when " ripping " , but I don`t understand what you mean about having "
options set to update info ". Cuold you please explain to this here THICKO.
