help needed with links in outlook

Hi all hope you can help. last night i uninstalled firefox and opera from by
machine and now only have IE 7. suddenly i cannot follow any links in emails
when i open outlook, yet if i open livemail i can. i have made no changes to
anti virus or spam i have repaired office and restarted the pc and it still
happening, any tips?
 
Yes i did, i just reinstalled firefox and the links worked, i then
uninstalled firefox and the links stop working, just reinstall;ed 4 minutes
ago and the links work again. whats that about?
